This page explains which cookies and similar browser-storage technologies creator-guard.com uses, what they do, and how you control them. The short version: the site works fully without tracking — Google and Meta tools only run if you click “Accept all” in our banner.

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We also use browser storage (localStorage / sessionStorage), which works similarly. Both let a site remember things between pages — from your language choice to, with your consent, advertising measurement.
2. Essential — always active
These make the site work and store no marketing data. They cannot be switched off because the site would not function without them.

3. First-party measurement — no third parties
We measure how our pages and the quiz funnel are used (pages visited, time on page, scroll depth, quiz step reached) using a random session identifier that expires with your browser tab. This data goes to our own database only — no advertising network is involved, no cross-site profile is built, and it is not used to identify you. We use it under our legitimate interest to improve the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Analytics & marketing — only with your consent
If you click “Accept all”, we load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta pixel. These set the following cookies and process usage data (including your IP address) in part on servers in the United States. If you decline, these scripts are never loaded.

We use Google Consent Mode v2: until you consent, all Google storage signals are set to “denied”. You can additionally opt out directly with the providers: Google Analytics opt-out and Meta ad preferences.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you view, delete and block cookies and site data (usually under Settings → Privacy). Note that deleting our storage also removes your consent choice and language preference, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.
